Why Study German?
You recognize that German is the most spoken language in the European Union. It鈥檚 an official language in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein making it the fourth most spoken language in the world, and the second most commonly used scientific language. Germany is the third largest contributor to research and development. For example, in 2020 BioNTech, Pfizer鈥檚 partner in Germany, developed the first COVID-19 vaccine.
You enjoy Germany鈥檚 innovative climate and know that Germany鈥檚 number one export is machinery including computers, followed by vehicles, electrical machinery and equipment, pharmaceuticals, as well as air- and spacecraft.
