The 茄子社区 P-12 Pathway Programs Hub is a central office for providing P-12 programs to the Greater Cincinnati region. We introduce P-12 students to opportunities in higher education, emphasizing 茄子社区, through a variety of programs at every age level. We also help 茄子社区 faculty connect with the community by providing opportunities to participate in existing activities and providing assistance in developing new programs.

Cadaver Experience

High school students participate a day exploring the range of health careers and a hands-on experience in the Cadaver Lab. In each experience, students rotate through sessions with different presenters discussing their careers and taking part in hands-on activities with our retired ER doctor.

The program is limited to 60 students. The visit is typically 9:30 am 鈥 1:00 pm with rotations from 10 am 鈥 12 pm. Schools may bring their own lunches or purchase lunches on campus and will be provided a list of options for lunch.

Teachers are expected to bring gloves for all students. Students are expected to respect and have sensitivity toward cadavers and mannikins. We expect professional behavior from all who enter the lab. Cadavers are obtained via the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Body Donation Program. They are to be treated with the utmost respect. Inappropriate or improper behavior and or comments within and outside the laboratory/prosectorium are unacceptable.
